The sanguine setting of Diablo 4 Season 2 has well and truly graced the ARPG’s community with its presence, thanks to its refreshing new storyline and the slew of new content it brought with it. However, one of the most popular additions that has arrived as part of the latest update isn’t a new gameplay feature or a new piece of Uber Unique loot. Instead, a highly provocative Rogue dominatrix skin is what’s taken the player base by storm after it quickly became a hit with fans upon release.
Aptly called the Ravishing Harness, this particular cosmetic, though far from being a Diablo 4 unique item, leaves very little to the imagination, as its design is largely similar to what can only be described as goth girl undergarments. Naturally, this has prompted many within the game’s social media communities to comment on its design after several images were shared with the public.
The suggestive theme of this outfit also wasn’t lost on players, as Reddit user BillyMancer said: “I guess they’re starting to realize what people like. Gotta sell [those microtransactions] somehow.” Of course, to get the intended effect of the Ravishing Harness set, players have commonly equipped it with a female Rogue character to accentuate her assets. However, a few curious gamers also predictably wondered what it would look like when worn by a male Rogue, as Redditor bms_ demanded: “[I] need a male preview ASAP.”
Unsurprisingly, the outcome, although equally provocative (as exhibited by Wowhead), wasn’t as successful in gaining the attention of the Diablo 4 community. Some were even outraged at this specific bundle’s price, as user low-standard-383 pointed out that the Ravishing Harness costs 2800 Platinum (£20.99 / $24.99) while a few other well-designed and more intricate sets cost less.
But despite its cost, this Diablo 4 Season 2 dominatrix skin will likely end up being a bestseller due to its suggestive nature.
