The latest Diablo 4 patch notes have finally been released by Blizzard and though the update hasn’t actually been launched yet, players have now had plenty of time to digest the changes that are arriving on August 8th. Despite previous patches having prompted plenty of complaints from unsatisfied customers, it seems that fans are having trouble finding things to nitpick this time around as the improvements being made have seemingly hit most of, if not all, the right notes.

This sentiment towards the latest Diablo 4 patch notes was further evidenced by SlimMini10‘s Reddit comment, wherein they said: “SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO BE ANGRY ABOUT,” to which Spritemystic jokingly replied: “[There are] too many 1’s in the patch number.” Naturally, there were a few players that were initially surprised since the removal of the Resource Burn NMD affix wasn’t included with the opening set of notes. Luckily, it has since been added after community manager Adam Fletcher revealed that this was simply a small mistake.

Now, the biggest change that was advertised with this update were the buffs being introduced to both the Sorceress and Barbarian classes. Based on the improvements made, some players are already rejoicing being able to try out different builds in endgame scenarios as one Reddit user named USPost116 said: “As a Chain Lightning Sorc…I’m fxxxxxx stoked! Build was already fun enough pre-patch.”

Unfortunately, it seems Barbarian players aren’t quite satisfied with the changes made to the multi-weapon wielding class as IronCrossPC said: “Yeah I don’t think Barbarian is ever going to be as good as other classes. [The developers] don’t seem to understand why it’s not good.” Another commenter named S***emuffin then added: “So far the barbarian “buffs” seem utterly pointless. I am certain the +2 fury per attack will solve all my survivability issues.”

But even with several Barbarian mains being disappointed with the insignificant changes to their class, it appears a majority of the community is still largely satisfied with the changes that are set to be introduced soon.
