The latest Diablo 4 Campfire Chat has concluded and the development team has finally revealed the changes that are arriving with the upcoming Patch 1.1.1. Most of the improvements that were announced will undoubtedly please a majority of the player base as many of the updates revolve around the prevalent issues that players had often been experiencing, such as a glaring lack of dungeon monster density, underwhelming endgame viability for the Sorceress and Barbarian, and more.

One of the biggest changes that associate game director Joe Piepiora revealed was the temporary removal of the Diablo 4 Nightmare Dungeon Resource Burn affix, which many had automatically been salvaging because this modifier frequently left players helpless. In addition, both Cold Enchanted and Backstabber affixes are also being removed with Patch 1.1.1 for the time being as the developers will be looking for ways to nerf these modifiers in a way that’ll make them more playable.

Game director Joe Shely also announced that they will be increasing monster density for both Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides, meaning you’ll be able to enjoy slaying demons even more as hordes upon hordes of these creatures are set to swarm your character once the update drops. Of course, more enemies also means more chances for the game to drop loot so the endgame Uber Unique farm could become easier with this improvement.

According to community manager Adam Fletcher, patch notes for Diablo 4 patch 1.1.1 will be released through the game’s website on August 2 and the update itself will then be launched on August 8. With this in mind, you’ll only need to remain patient for a short while until these in-game enhancements finally make Blizzard’s ARPG experience much more fulfilling.
