Of course, these gripes with Blizzard’s latest ARPG installment have only been exacerbated by other fundamental issues such as the frustrating mount cooldown, which many fans continue to be annoyed by.
Naturally, it’s still important to learn how to get a Diablo 4 mount as this will be your main mode of transportation throughout your time in Sanctuary. But based on a scathing Reddit post by lumixod, it seems that this feature’s inherent cooldown is steadily becoming a widespread concern as many continue to be disappointed by the game’s lack of a tireless horse that doesn’t need a 10 second rest every time you dismount.
The growing apprehension of the fan base is further evidenced by many of the commenters’ reactions like SurgioClemente, who said: “I enjoy the part where you leave town and the horse still thinks you are in town and won’t let you sprint in the wild. The only choice is to dismount and wait for cooldown to mount again and get your sprint back.” Dave047, on the other hand, simply noted that “everyone has hated it since launch and it’s still not changed.” “Who knows what stupid programming error makes this one impossible,” they continued.
With the game already set to receive some much needed changes that include buffs to the underpowered Sorceress, though, updates to the Diablo 4 mount cooldown may be a suggestion that the receptive development team eventually look into at some point in the future. But for now, you’ll just have to bear with your periodically tired steed until the update that introduces unlimited mount stamina finally arrives.
