However, there is one feature that players continue to ask about ahead of the game’s impending release. Since subclasses are often introduced with each expansion, the community is now wondering if new ones will be arriving with Lightfall. Here’s all that we know about the inclusion of new subclasses in the latest chapter.

Will there be a new subclass in Destiny 2 Lightfall?

Yes, there will be three new subclasses available with the release of Destiny 2 Lightfall. This includes the Hunter Threadrunner, the Titan Berserker, and the Warlock Broodweaver. Each one will have their own unique abilities that revolve around manipulation of the element called Strand.

Hunters with the Threadrunner subclass will be able to conjure and wield a rope dart that they can use to pierce their enemies from afar. Together with a Hunter’s speed and agility, this subclass is sure to cause plenty of mayhem in combat as it allows them to maneuver quickly while wielding an equally quick-hitting weapon.

Next, Titans with the Berserker subclass can turn Strand into large claws, which they can then use to decimate enemies. Additionally, they also have a unique heavy attack that can suspend enemies temporarily when used.

Last but not least, we have Warlock Broodweavers who are able to manipulate Strand by turning them into dangerous projectiles. Once thrown, these projectiles will then home in on the combatant you’re targeting and will deal heavy damage upon impact.

Each new subclass will have their own specific strengths and weaknesses, so what you choose to play as will depend completely on your play style.
