The Deku Smash sees your character jump into the sky, and then fall to the ground punching it on impact. It’s a devastating move that can instantly eliminate your enemy if it is a direct hit. It has also now been temporarily disabled in Fortnite.

Why Has Deku Smash Been Removed From Fortnite?

In the tweet you can see above, no reason was given as to why it has been removed and maybe there was a bug or glitch with the special move. However, there are those from within the community who have been calling for the move to be removed due to it being “overpowered”.

We don’t know when the move will be returning to the game, however if it comes back less powerful then we will know it has been removed to weaken it slightly.
