The Game Awards 2017 have now been and gone, and of course as promised Kojima turned up with his buddy Norman Reedus to present the latest trailer for his upcoming game Death Stranding.

Quite frankly, it has to be seen to be believed. I’ve watched it about four times now and I still can’t believe I’m about to write the sentence that, spoilers, at one point the camera goes into Norman Reedus’ mouth to reveal a baby foetus thing giving a thumbs up. Yup, that’s a thing that happens.

Sadly, there’s still no real practical details on what the game entails or is (although we’ve been told in the past it’ll be an action game about connection and protection), or when it’ll be out, but… Maybe we’re going to have to ask Alice nicely if she’ll interpret this one literally for us again.

We do know it’ll likely be a PlayStation 4 exclusive being it’s published by Sony. So that’s something.
