CD Projekt Red has teased some of the changes that will be coming in RPG Cyberpunk 2077‘s next 1.3 update patch, which is expected to land very soon.

Presented in the form of an in-universe report by N54 News, some of the highlighted features include improvements to the game’s minimap. You’ll now be able to zoom out a little more, and according to the developer “navigate better” as a result. Handy stuff.

Other improvements include making respecs cheaper by allowing players to move perk points around. However, it does seem you’ll likely still need Tabula e-Rasa cards for larger scale changes. Gameplay designer Katarina says: “For our players, this feature will mean safer experimentation with builds. It is easily accessible and affordable for everyone, so there is no need to hesitate while investing in particular perks.”

More tweaks include making certain story sequences easier to understand, and presumably some larger scale changes. The Polish studio promise to have a full deep-dive into what can be expected in Cyberpunk 1.3’s update in a Twitch broadcast this evening at 5pm. They’ll also release the full patch notes at this time.

Patch 1.3 will mark the latest round of updates for the troubled RPG. With the game now said to be at a “satisfactory level” stability wise, it’s assumed the focus will be on quality of life improvements. However, it’s also hoped we might soon see additional content, and there’s also the small matter of the promised next-generation versions of the game still to come. For the time being, an exact launch date for the upcoming 1.3 update is yet to be announced.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. You can check out our review here.
