It seems that the nostalgic buzz for Crash Bandicoot is not quite worn off, as the N.Sane Trilogy maintains its place at the top of the UK charts for a second week. This means Crash has achieved a feat unmatched by by any PlayStation exclusive since Uncharted 4 back in 2016.

Grand Theft Auto V (surely everyone must have a copy now) climbs a place to number two, usurping Micro Machines which falls to number five. Overwatch, in light of a recent sales bump, maintains its strong performance and rises to number three. Battlefield 1 has re-entered the top 10 thanks to a recent price drop, coming in at number six. With no new major releases, we are in the midst of a summer drought, which will be moistened with the release of Splatoon in a couple of weeks.

The full top 10 for the week ending July 8 is as follows:

  1. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy
  2. Grand Theft Auto V
  3. Overwatch
  4. FIFA 17
  5. Micro Machines World Series
  6. Battlefield 1
  7. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  8. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare
  9. Rocket League
  10. Horizon Zero Dawn
