Nostalgia washes over us once again, with yet another original PlayStation franchise debuting in the charts at number one. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy follows in the success of Wipeout Omega Collection and Tekken 7 in taking the top spot.

What makes this so special, though, is that by debuting at number one the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy has achieved what none of the original Crash games did. It is also the biggest single format launch of 2017, so not too bad at all.

Coming in at number two is Codemasters Micro Machines World Series, which in turn pushes charts mainstayer Grand Theft Auto V into third place. Also debuting at number seven is Sold Out’s Elite Dangerous, which finally gets its long awaited PS4 release.

The full top 10 for the week ending 30th June is as follows:

  1. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy
  2. Micro Machines World Series
  3. Grand Theft Auto V
  4. Forza Horizon 3
  5. FIFA 17
  6. Overwatch
  7. Elite Dangerous
  8. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  9. Dirt 4
  10. Rocket League
