We thought we’d be playing Lionhead’s first Fable II DLC last Christmas, but a delay pushed it to an early 09 release. Today Lionhead has revealed that the Knothole Island expansion will finally make it to Xbox LIVE Marketplace on January 13, priced 800 Microsoft Points.
According to the Lionhead update more than two million gamers worldwide have embarked on a quest to reshape the world of Albion, and in that time the UK-based developer has been hard at work on the first DLC expansion and a free game update – this will allow gamers who don’t buy the expansion to continue playing online with those who do. Also included in the free update are a number of gifts from the people of Knothole Island, such as a weight loss potion and assassins gloves.
A new video diary has been released which looks at finishing the development of Fable II and working on the Knothole Island expansion. Get that for free on Xbox LIVE Marketplace or from Lionhead.com.
