To put it bluntly, you will not be able to take part in Quidditch on the game’s release. This has been made clear by the game’s developer’s notes in the FAQ section of the official game website. The developers have stated that Quidditch won’t be playable in Hogwarts.
However, they do confirm that you can traverse the school grounds on your handy broom, so we have something to look forward to.
While this does seem to be greatly disappointing news for fans that were looking forward to participating in the sport to win points for their houses, all hope is not lost.
