Destiny 2 developer Bungie has hired Patrick 'Holtzmann' Casey , a prolific YouTuber, to help improve the fortunes of its shared-world shooter.
Casey has had plenty of experience with the Engram-farming sci-fi opus, having started out with the original Destiny back in 2014. As such, Bungie's now snapped him up as 'gameplay specialist' and is apparently on a three-month contract with the Halo creator. Hopefully his experience will help turn things around for the better.

It's fair to say that Destiny 2 hasn't had the smoothest ride in the past few months, although Bungie has been attempting to polish things up with a series of major title updates. Its roadmap for the sequel is extensive, and includes yet more sandbox changes and the release of a new expansion, Warmind, on May 8.
One of the biggest tweaks introduced recently have been in the Crucible, Destiny 2's dedicated multiplayer suite, among which includes the addition of 6v6 battles in Iron Banner. Looking ahead to the end of 2018, Season Four of the game will kick off in September and we'll also be getting a third expansion before the year's out.
Alice was pretty impressed with Destiny 2 at launch despite its shortcomings, so it's probably worth checking out still, especially as Bungie's actually made some decent improvements since September.
