The resurgence of Black Ops 6 Zombies as Call of Duty’s top co-op mode has injected a breath of fresh air into the franchise. The return to a tried and tested round-based formula alongside another chapter in the Dark Aether storyline has seen players continuing to fend off the undead across a variety of battlegrounds.

Season 1 Reloaded saw the arrival of the Citadelle des Morts map along with a number of new Easter eggs to uncover. In addition, the mid-season update acted as an ideal time for Treyarch to add the foundations for future content. One leaker has managed to get their hands on the intel and claims a game-changing ability is on its way with the next map.

Black Ops 6’s next Wonder Weapon has appeared

According to notable Black Ops 6 Zombies leaker alanthethird_90, the Wonder Weapon that will feature as part of the map codenamed Opal will have its very own healing orb giving players even more ways to outlast the enemies that spawn each round.

Wonder Weapons often contain some kind of unique power that’s perfect for decimating a horde of undead opposition in the blink of an eye. Aside from three mentions of a healing orb, details on how the weapon will function remains a mystery for the time being.

Thanks to the Augments and Perk-a-Colas available, there are already several ways players can increase their health to stay alive in the higher rounds. The ability to use a weapon to restore health could be a game-changer, especially if it heals you and your squadmates in the heat of battle.

When is the next Black Ops 6 Zombies map releasing?

Information on when the fourth Black Ops 6 Zombies map will be released hasn’t been confirmed by Treyarch yet. Considering the mid-season update for Season 1 marked the arrival of Citadelle des Morts, there’s a chance players will have to wait until Season 2 at the earliest for any clues as to where the Dark Aether storyline is heading.

As with all leaks, take them with a pinch of salt as the developers can change the files just as quickly as adding them. Despite this, a weapon that’s capable of dealing huge damage along with healing sounds like a very exciting addition to the ever-expanding arsenal of weaponry.
