Activision has finally confirmed Call of Duty’s Black Ops 6 PS5 Pro enhancements. With many players wondering whether or not the game’s announce enhancements were actually on or not, we now have a full list of improvements on Sony’s machine.
In a statement released to VideoGamer, Activision PR confirmed every enhancement present in the game’s new PlayStation 5 Pro enhancement update.
Black Ops 6 PS5 Pro enhanced features
For starters, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is already coming with a suite of PS5 Pro enhanced features. However, developer Treyarch will be adding even more improvements when Season 1 launches later this month.
On the launch of the enhanced patch, the new CoD will benefit from an improved 4K 60fps mode using PSSR reconstruction, allowing the game to target a full 2160p output with a solid framerate.
There are also new quality settings for players to make use of including “higher quality shadows, ambient occlusion, reflections and screen space global illumination”
If you just want pure performance, there’s also a 120fps mode that runs at the same image quality as the base PlayStation 5 running at 60fps.
Season 1 adds VRR
Alongside these new enhancements, Treyarch is also continuing to improve Black Ops 6 PS5 Pro support with more updates.
When Season 1 launches, the new Call of Duty game will also support a variable refresh rate mode that “allows our highest image quality mode to often exceed 60 Hz on compatible display devices”.
While BLoPS 6 still doesn’t include any ray-tracing features, these are some neat enhancements across the board. All of these improvements are also coming to Warzone as well, adding better visuals to the battle royale game.
