News on Ubisoft’s upcoming Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been pretty quiet of late, and there were hopes we’d be seeing more of it at this year’s E3. Alas, a post on the game’s blog seems to indicate it’ll be missing the big show.

The post states that due to the development team ‘focusing on core development milestones’ the game will not be making an appearance at Ubisoft’s E3 press event on June 10 this year.

However, instead there will be a development update livestream broadcast, known as the fifth Space Monkey Report, on June 5 at 5pm UK time on the game’s official social media channels including Twitter, Facebook and Twitch.

It’s not yet known what we can expect specifically during the livestream, but maybe we’ll hear word on the beta soon, which is expected to land in ‘late 2019’.
