The release date for the much anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3 has finally been revealed through the February 2023 PlayStation State of Play.

Fans of the series are extremely excited for its arrival as the previous installment had been launched more than 10 years ago. For those that weren’t able to tune n to Sony’s showcase, you may be wondering when it’s going to be made available to the public. Baldur’s Gate 3 Release Date

Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released on August 31 according to its exhibit during the February 2023 State of Play. The short preview that was shown throughout included snippets of the role-playing, strategic gameplay that made the franchise incredibly popular.

Numerous scenes of the expansive areas and maps were shown during the sneak peek, giving players an even better idea of what they can expect once it arrives. Various skills and abilities were similarly put on full display, with some characters even being able to transform into dangerous beasts. Fans that were able to watch the trailer were pleasantly surprised at the announcement of the launch as they were expecting it to come at a later date. Some have even stated that they thought it would take at least a year before it went public.

Players are also surprised that it will be available on consoles as well since the early access launch was only playable through Steam. Unfortunately, it will not be playable on previous gen consoles as it will only be released for the PS5, along with PC, and MacOS.
