Baldur’s Gate 3 has an assortment of endings already, but more are set to be added in patch 7. These new conclusions will make an evil playthrough all the more rewarding, and we absolutely cannot wait to see them. Larian has revealed one of the new evil endings for Baldur’s Gate 3, and it is just one of many set to arrive in patch 7 next month.
It’s been an eventful month for BG3 so far. Larian has shared new player statistics in honor of the game’s one year anniversary, and a hack has shown an impossible to unlock alternative to the rarest ending in the game. In addition, Larian has just recently won another best game award to add to their trophy collection following the game’s launch last year.
Even though it came out last year, Baldur’s Gate 3 is still one of the most exciting games of 2024 thanks to the soon-to-be-released patch 7. It is set to arrive in September, and it will include new evil endings. Larian has teased two of the evil endings set to arrive, meanwhile, those who participated in the closed beta have described them as “brutal”.

Larian reveals new Baldur’s Gate 3 evil ending for patch 7
On the game’s official Twitter account, Larian has revealed one of the new evil endings for Baldur’s Gate 3. This is set to arrive as part of patch 7. It obviously contains spoilers, but the new evil ending is freely available to watch in the embedded tweet below:
In addition to the above, Larian also shared a gif of a new evil ending for the Dark Urge. This screenshot comes courtesy of Larian’s community update 26.
Accompanying the above screenshot, Larian also shared a dark and morbid new song called March of Darkness. This is orchestrated by BAFTA award-winning composer, Borislav Slavov, and it sounds amazingly horrific.
The above are the only teasers and reveals we have had so far. Reacting to the new patch 7 ending teaser on Reddit, some who participated in the closed beta have shared their impressions.
One user commented, “I got the privilege to beta test and the evil endings are brutal. I’ve tried Tav ending, SH [Shadowheart], Gale, Lae’zel, Karlach, Astarion and Durge. Durge felt brutal on a personal level. Couldn’t do Wyll because he was my honor mode run”.
You can freely check out the replies in the Reddit thread if you’re not sensitive about potential spoilers.
There is no release date for patch 7, but it is currently pegged for September. Not only will introduce new evil endings, but it will bring an official mod toolkit to PC, and will introduce the ability to download mods on PS5 and Xbox consoles.
In other gaming news, a PlayStaion Showcase is rumored for September, and the next Xbox console exclusive coming to PS5 has possibly leaked.
