Baldur’s Gate 3 has been a smash hit for Larian Studios since its release just a few days ago and fans are finding it hard to fault the game in any one area. However, with how great everything in Baldur’s Gate 3 appears to be for players, the Baldur’s Gate 3 community is begging Larian to allow them to revisit their character’s appearance after the initial character creator.

While players have been enamoured by Baldur’s Gate 3’s breath of character customization, with some fans even pleading with Larian to allow them 72 hours early access to the character creator so they wouldn’t spend their first four-five hours trying to create the perfect character, players are now asking for a way to edit their character’s appearance after the initial setup.

Taking to the Baldur’s Gate 3 Reddit one player wanted Larian to include something similar to that of a Vanity Mirror in another Larian-developed game, Divinity: Original Sin 2 or even just a barber which appeared in the original Baldur’s Gate. They noted, “It would be great to just be able to edit everything like hairs, skin, face, colours, makeup etc.”

Others agreed and were even surprised given the depth of customization in Baldur’s Gate 3 that this wasn’t a feature on launch. Another player said, “I like to change even the hairstyle of my characters and I especially want to change the face and hairstyle when the mods are updated.” Others pointed to how it was odd that players could alter their character’s progression but not even get a haircut. It could be possible that Larian is already working on implementing the feature. However, whether it’ll be available before the launch of Baldur’s Gate 3 on PlayStation 5 is unknown.

In other Baldur’s Gate 3 news, Baldur’s Gate 3 is already one of the biggest games in Steam’s history and Baldur’s Gate 3 patch notes address several launch problems including save game issues.
