Square Enix has unveiled a new trailer for upcoming action RPG Babylon’s Fall just in time for its demo release today.

In addition, the publisher has also unveiled the roadmap for the first season of the game when it launches this March. Proceedings kick off from launch with a new game mode, Duels, on March 7. Then, March 22 will see the game get a large scale update with a bunch of new additions. These include a new faction in Molzamite, a new weapon type in Labrys and a new Refine feature.

Players can also look forward to another new game mode, Gauntlet as well as new bosses, weapons and armour and the start of some new story content to boot. There’ll then be a short interval, so to speak, with a limited time event crossover with fellow PlatinumGames RPG NieR: Automata. That’ll feature costumes, enemies and even an entire new dungeon inspired by the 2017 game to celebrate its fifth anniversary.

The second half of the Resurgence story arc will then continue on April 26. It’ll include more new bosses, quests, weapons and armour and another limited time event known as the Februus Festival. You can check out the full roadmap, along with the Babylon’s Fall Combat 101 trailer, below.

If you want to give the game a go for yourself, the free demo of Babylon’s Fall goes live today on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The full game then arrives on those two consoles and PC on March 3.
