Platinum Games has unveiled the schedule for the upcoming closed beta for live service action RPG Babylon’s Fall.

As detailed on a new section of the game’s official website, the first, PC-only phase will see a staggered approach across three regions. Japan will be first to play the Babylon’s Fall closed beta on July 29 between 10am and 2pm BST. They’ll be followed by the North American server on Thursday, August 5 between 2am and 6am UK time. Finally, the EU server will be brought online for players to play on Thursday August 12 between 6pm and 10pm UK time.

The first phase, Platinum say, will expand into Phases 2 and 3 where PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners will be allowed entry. A date for the second and third phases has not yet been given. Platinum also note that the first phase will ” emphasize technical testing” and as a result “tests involving game elements will be kept to a minimum.” Anyone fortunate enough to be selected for any phase of the closed beta will be granted entry into subsequent phases too.

Square Enix revealed a bunch of new Babylon’s Fall information during their summer showcase back in June. A co-operative action RPG in the mould of Nier, you’ll be playing as a group of heroes known as Sentinels in the live service game, You can check out a Closed Beta Test play guide over on the game’s official website.

Babylon’s Fall is in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. A release date hasn’t been announced just yet.
