Ubisoft has unsheathed the latest Assassin's Creed Odyssey patch, with update 1.0.5 ironing out a particularly irksome bug that saw the game crashing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The issue in question cropped up after the release of update 1.0.3, and saw players booted back to the dashboard of their console. In addition to removing this issue, the patch also adds a number of stability improvements across the board, so the game should run smoother than before.
Fortunately, the update won't give your hard drive much grief, weighing in at 0.16GB and 0.1GB on PS4 and Xbox One, respectively.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey was released on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on October 5, and I thought it was just a bit good to say the least. Ubisoft will be supporting the game extensively post-launch too, including a remastered version of 2012's Assassin's Creed III.
This week's planned Epic Mercenary live event ran into a spot of bother, and will instead be replaced by an Epic Ship confrontation on October 23.
