Assassin's Creed Odyssey's game director has admitted he's 'surprised' at the character usage split between Alexios and Kassandra.

Speaking with Game Informer (via PST), Scott Phillips confirmed that the split between the two protagonists is 'two thirds Alexios' to 'one third Kassandra.' To be fair, we're a bit surprised too; Kassandra has been heavily marketed by Ubisoft, and she's been confirmed as the canon character

Interestingly, playtests had seen the split at around the 50/50 mark, with Philips admitting he thought the final version would have nudged things towards 'a little bit more Kassandra.'

Assassin's Creed Odyssey was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in October, and I thought it was one of the best entries in Ubisoft's stab-happy series to date. It's the last Assassin's Creed game for a while, as Ubisoft is taking a year off in 2019.

The post-launch slate for Assassin's Creed Odyssey includes a fully remastered version of Assassin's Creed III.
