This is the second event of the year for the widely popular FPS entry so its players are naturally excited once again. However, you may be wondering what exactly you can expect with this latest installment once it arrives. For this reason, we’ll be taking a look at all that the Imperial Guard Collection Event has to offer so all you’ll need to do is to keep reading further to find out.

What is the Imperial Guard Collection Event in Apex Legends?

The Imperial Guard Collection Event is an in-game occasion that includes the addition of a feature called Mixtape. It also brings new Japanese-lore themed skins and accessories, such as the “Hope’s Dawn” Heirloom for Wraith, into the fray. The main attraction, of course, is the former as Mixtape presents an offering of rotating game modes that allows players to enjoy different match types seamlessly.

This will also apparently be a permanent playlist that features three popular modes: Team Deathmatch, Control, and Gun Run. EA and Respawn Entertainment will also be adding Mixtape to custom matches on March 7. With the upcoming event update, the developers will also apparently be adjusting the requirements to start a match based on the available modes.

Additionally, you’ll have the chance to unlock 24 Collection Event items in exchange for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals for the entire duration of the event. If you’re able to unlock all of them, you’ll automatically be given the “Hope’s Dawn” Heirloom.
