The US magazine Nintendo Power has revealed some new titbits of information on Animal Crossing Wild World for the Nintendo DS. One of the most exciting things is the single-cart multiplayer support of up to four players. Apparently you’ll be able to live with up to three other animals in one house. Nintendo has already announced that the game will support Wi-Fi play over the internet, but we assume that you can’t share the game in this way.

The Animal Crossing train station will not be present in the DS version, with animals now required to walk through gates into other villages. The game is also said to include a nightclub where animals can go and shake their furry booty. The only downside to all this news is that it makes waiting for the game’s release in 2006 even harder.
