Sony Computer Entertainment has released a whole host of new info on the tracks to be featured in upcoming PS3 exclusive off-road racer, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift.
The game’s island will be divided into four separate racing zones: Earth Zone, Wind Zone, Water Zone and Fire Zone. Each will be home to four multi-route tracks and will feature unique climates.
Earth Zone will feature a dense jungle making it difficult to judge what’s just ahead and heavy undergrowth which hides a host of hazards. In the Wind Zone players will hurtle downhill, teeter on cliff edges and get big air on huge-scale jumps. The Fire Zone if full of red-hot danger, with the four race tracks featuring cascades of lava. Last comes the Water Zone which features waterfalls and treacherous river canyons.
As was the case in the first MotorStorm game, tracks can only be accessed with tickets. Racers must obtain either gold, silver or bronze medals in each track to increase their ranking and access more tickets which in turn grants access to more tracks.
