When is the AEW Fight Forever release date? This all-new wrestling game is set to make a splash this year, and now we finally know when we can get our hands on it – and there isn’t too long to wait at all.
Alongside the release date, we also know a little more about the features and game modes included in AEW Fight Forever, we can also speculate about the wrestlers who will feature, and we have some details on how much it’ll cost across various platforms. Here’s the lowdown on everything you need to know about AEW Fight Forever.
AEW Fight Forever release date
The official AEW Fight Forever release date is set for June 29, and will be on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch at launch. As of yet, there has been no information regarding an early access period.
Executive Vice President and former AEW World Champion and World Tag Team Champion at AEW Kenny Omega has stated his intent to create the best wrestling game ever, stating that he is “confident that June 29 will be a momentous day for wrestling fans and gamers alike.”
AEW Fight Forever features
There are several confirmed features set to arrive in the new game, including nine exciting match types, five custom modes, career mode, and online multiplayer. The match types will feature your standard single matches, tag-team, 3-way, and 4-way contests.
You will also be able to play the more extreme match types like ladder matches, casino battle royale, falls count anywhere, unsanctioned light-out (weapons available), and a terrifying exploding barbed wire death match! In the custom options, you will be able to create and edit your own wrestlers, move sets, entrances, teams, and arenas.
AEW Fight Forever wrestlers
We are still waiting on a full roster list to be released, however, we do know of several superstars set to feature in this year’s game having featured in the imagery and trailers released already. Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) are all set to be included in an extensive AEW roster.
CM Punk is another of the big names to have featured heavily throughout the promotional campaign for the game, but recent developments outside of the ring have put his inclusion in doubt. CM Punk was in line to be the cover athlete for the game too, so we may see an alteration to the cover art before the game is released worldwide.
AEW Fight Forever price
AEW Fight Forever will cost £49.99 / $59.99 regardless of your preferred platform. So far we do not know of any special editions or pre-order bonuses that may be available pre-release.
