We now have a new date for RTS remaster Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp thanks to the latest Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo revealed a few extra details about the package during its showing in yesterday’s presentation. This includes the fact that every commanding officer in both campaigns is now fully voiced. Gameplay wise, you’ll also be able to fast forward gameplay and even skip turns, if you’re pushed for time.

Away from the campaign, players can find a bunch of extra modes. The War Room will let you take on skirmish battles, letting you pick aspects from both games. You’ll then play these scenarios with the aim of setting a high score. Meanwhile, the Design Room will let you create and design custom maps, which can then be shared online. Speaking of online, you’ll also be able to challenge friends there or locally with the game’s multiplayer offerings.

The Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp remasters were first announced last Summer, giving the early 2000 Game Boy Advance classics a fresh lick of paint. You can check out the new trailer, complete with release date, for yourself down below.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp arrives on Nintendo Switch on April 8, 2022.
