A Saints Row reboot appears to being teased for a reveal at this year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live event next week.

Host Geoff Keighley posted to fans on Twitter that they will be “Bossing” it with announcements this year. This alludes to the player character of the series, known as “Boss”. To really hammer it home, the tweet also included artwork with the signature Saints Row fleur logo with the word “rebooting” written on it. The same image also appears on the official Saints Row website, which Keighley also linked in the tweet.

The last Saints Row game, outside of remasters, was 2015’s Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell expansion. Saints Row: The Third Remastered meanwhile brought the 2011 open world adventure to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC last year. Funnily enough, it was only back in June when Deep Silver said it wouldn’t be showing up at E3. Turns out, we just needed to wait a few more months.

Hopefully then, we’ll find out more about the Saints Row reboot next week. Gamescom Opening Night Live kicks off at 7pm UK time on Wednesday, August 25. We’ll update you with any announcement once we hear more, of course.
