Completing Zenless Zone Zero dailies is a way to earn Polychrome, which is a premium currency you use to pull on Signal Search banners. In ZZZ, these daily tasks are called Errands. HoYoverse has similar mechanics in its other gacha games, Honkai and Genshin, where you complete daily tasks to earn these rewards, giving you a supply of 60 Polychomre each day, along with Inter-Knot exp and other resources. Daily Tasks are unlocked as part of the story, here’s how you get them.
When do you unlock Errands in ZZZ
To unlock Errands, you need to reach Inter-Knot level 10 and complete the story quest that takes you to HIA to challenge the Combat Simulations. This takes a fairly long time to get to, and you’re probably looking at unlocking them around four hours into the game. Errands are unlocked after you clear the fourth mission of Chapter One called Investigation: Explosive Train. All of this happens as part of the story, so there is no way to miss it.
Once you unlock Errands, you can find them in the Compendium tab in the menu. Navigate to Errands to see your daily quests. Completing tasks in the Errands tab will earn you ‘Heat’ and once you get to 400 Heat, these will be marked as ‘Completed’ and you can claim all of your Errand rewards. These tasks refresh every 24 hours, giving you new tasks to do each day. You’ll want to clear these, as it’s a reliable way to get currency to exchange for pulling on the character banners.
Errand rewards in ZZZ
For completing Errands each day, you get the following rewards:
Reward | Amount |
---|---|
Inter-Knot Credit | 600 |
Polychrome | 60 |
Official Investigator’s Log | 3 |
Bangboo Algorithm Module | 3 |
W-Engine Power Supply | 3 |
Denny | 3000 |
If you’re familiar with Honkai Star Rail, you’ll recognise this as the exact same system in Zenless Zone Zero. Once you’ve cleared a selection of the daily quests listed under your Errands, you can claim your rewards. It is important to note that your rewards will change based on your Inter-Knot level. The Errand rewards we list above are from being at Inter-Knot level 18. The only reward that won’t change is the 60 Polychrome.
Alongside Errands, you can also grab a selection of freebies with the latest ZZZ codes, so don’t miss out on those.
