How long to beat Stellar Blade?

  • We beat the game after about 30 hours.
  • We did a bunch of side quests, but not everything.
  • 100% completion might take you around 40 hours or more.

Before you jump into the debut console game from Shift Up, you might want to know how long it takes to beat Stellar Blade. The main mission isn’t especially long, but there are plenty of other side objectives and options areas for you to explore that will rack up your overall playtime. We’ve cleared the game and have a pretty good read on how long it takes to beat Stellar Blade.

How long does it take to beat Stellar Blade?

Our playthrough of Stellar Blade took us around 32 hours. We took our time with this game and didn’t just focus on the main story, including a lot of backtracking and hunting down various items and lore notes. While HowLongToBeat lists the game as 30 hours for the main story, it will depend on how you play and what you focus on.

If you want to do a full completion run, you will need to play the game several times to get all three endings. This might see your playtime clock in around 90 to 100 hours if you’re being extremely thorough. While you can use the PS Plus cloud save to cheese it a little, it’s worth jumping into the game again through New Game Plus, since there are new additions to experience.

32 hours for us seemed like a decent amount, and we forced ourselves to play through bits we probably could have ignored, like the various requests and other pointless fetch objectives that require you to backtrack through levels. We also managed to grab a lot of the memory sticks and other collectables, putting in one heck of a shift for Stellar Blade.
