Wandering around New Atlantis but can’t figure out how to get to The Well in Starfield? Starfield’s map is infamously poor when it comes to navigating settlements, and considering how many quests lead you down there, it’s surprisingly hard to find your way to The Well. This location underneath the shiny sights of New Atlantis is a key location throughout your playthrough, and you’ll want to know exactly how to get there.
There are plenty of quests to keep you busy down there, such as the Starfield Alternating Currents quest. And if you’re stopping off at the Trade Authority, make sure you check to see if they have any Starfield adhesive in stock, or to sell your Starfield contraband. With that, let’s go through the quickest and easiest way to get to The Well in Starfield.
How to get to The Well in Starfield
There are several ways to get to The Well in Starfield, but we’re going to take you through the easiest and fastest one. First of all, you’re going to want to start off at the New Atlantis spaceport. From your ship, head down the ramp ahead of you and bear left through the security checkpoint.
Head straight past the large, twisting statue in the centre of the plaza and you’ll see a short path between Jemison Mercantile and Terrabrew Coffee. Head down here, and on your left you’ll see an elevator. Simply get in, press the button, and select The Well to travel down there.
This is the easiest and fastest way to get to The Well, but there are other elevators around New Atlantis that also lead down here, so simply pick your favourite route and stick to it. For us, we found during our playthrough that the spaceport route was simply the easiest one.
That’s everything you need to know about how to get to The Well in Starfield. While you’re passing through the New Atlantis spaceport, be sure to talk to the Ship Services Techician about fitting some of the Starfield best ship parts to your vessel. And if it’s quests you’re after, the Starfield Delivering Devils and Starfield Operation Starseed quests are both great choices to take on.
