If you want to make your smoke bombs better in Star Wars Outlaws, you will need to get your hands on the Ion Capacitator Charge. This will allow you to unlock the Concussive Smoke ability. Unlocking this ability allows you to stun enemies whenever you use one of your smoke bombs. Not only is this useful for escaping capture, but it is also great for keeping yourself hidden. How to get the Ion Capacitator Charge
If you want to get the Ion Capacitator Charge, you will first need to get your hands on the Slicing Kit. Without this, you will not be able to access the area required to obtain the Capacitator Charge. Once you have the Slicing Kit unlocked, travel to the northern Imperial Territory on Toshara. The location for the Ion Capacitator Charge should appear on the map for you to mark so you can easily travel to the location where it can be found.

The Slicing Kit is given to you as part of the main questline.
Once you are in the area, locate the storage facility guarded by multiple Stormtroopers. This building looks like a grey tower and typically has four guards around it. You have two options here; take out the Stormtroopers or sneak past them. We recommend taking them out simply because they are a bit annoying to go around since they stand in front of the lock for the door.
Use Nix to distract some of the guards in the area so you don’t need to fight them all at once. This will help you save your health and also help prevent the Stormtroopers from calling reinforcements. A well-placed grenade can also take out all the enemies at once since they are so close.
Using your Slicing Kit, hack the door to the storage facility. Now that you are inside, take the ladder down to the lower level. There aren’t many items in the facility but make sure you pick up the extra Credits and treasures lying around. You can get the Ion Capacitator Charge by opening the chest. This alone will not get you the upgrade as you will also need to get your hands on 10 Durasteel and 4 Accu-Accelerators. Once you have all the items, you can use them to unlock the Concussive Smoke ability.
