The underworld is a dark place full of scoundrels and cheats in Star Wars Outlaws. If you want to survive and get ahead, you will need to sink to a new low. Gain wealth by doing odd jobs, taking risks, and maybe doing the occasional gambling. If you plan on using Sabacc as a means of gaining wealth, you will want to know the ins and outs of the game along with ways to get ahead. Let’s break down how to cheat in Kessel Sabacc in Star Wars Outlaws.

How to cheat in Kessel Sabacc

If you are new to the game of Sabacc, we recommend learning the basics of Kessel Sabacc so you know how to play the game first. Once you know the ins and outs of the card game, you can master the art of cheating.

When you first interact with a Sabacc table, you will get a menu that shows the information about the game. The available cheats will appear at the top right of the menu. At first, you will only have Nix as an available cheat. Nix can spy on each player’s cards for you so you know what everyone is holding.

It is important to understand the basics of Kessel Sabacc before you try to cheat so you don’t get caught.

Cheating with Nix

During the game, you can press up on the D-pad when using a controller or the W key on a keyboard to cheat using Nix. This will send Nix out to each of the players at the table so that you can cheat off of them. Nix will appear behind each player. When this happens, a prompt will appear. You must match the decreasing circle up with the target circle to successfully read the cards. If you fail, Nix will get swatted away and the cheating attempt will be ended.

Double Draw Plan A

Plan A is another cheat that is unlocked after The High Roller quest on Akiva. This cheat allows Kay to draw two cards at one time. You can then swap between the extra card and the one in your hand at any time. When activating this cheat, you must complete a quick-time event when Kay goes to pick up the card. This will allow you to get two cards that you can swap between. Later on, you can place the extra card back down with a double discard manoeuvre.

✓ Pro Tip

Once you are caught cheating, we recommend you avoid using any additional cheats for the rest of the game. Getting caught multiple times will get you kicked from the table and can even get you banned. Getting banned means that you will no longer be able to play at a specific table.

Suspicious players

When you are caught cheating, the players will grow suspicious of you and a warning will appear on the screen letting you know that they are slightly aware of your actions. We advise that you avoid cheating after this. This is because multiple failed attempts at cheating will result in you getting banned from the table and unable to play again. If you get caught, it is best to avoid cheating for the rest of the game and wait until you start a new game of Sabacc to start cheating again.
