Your Speeder is your first port of call when exploring the vast worlds of Star Wars Outlaws – you’re not exactly going to walk all that way, are you? But when you first land on Toshara and take your Speeder for a spin, it’s not exactly the most exciting ride. Well, that’s because the Speeder has a ton of upgrades to turn it into a real speed demon.
So if you’re wondering what upgrades there are, and how exactly you upgrade your Speeder in Star Wars Outlaws, we’re going to take you through it the requirements, what each upgrade does, and what materials you need for them.
How do you upgrade your Speeder?
To upgrade your Speeder, you’re first going to have to complete The Mechanic quest. This is unlocked once you complete the False Flag quest and return to Mirogana. You’ll have to find Selo Rovak, a local mechanic, who will send you off to find an atmospheric accelerator from an Imperial wind harvester located nearby.
Once you’ve completed that quest and returned to Selo Rovak, she’ll happily upgrade your Speeder, adding on a boost mechanic. From here, you can upgrade your Speeder at any time, provided you’ve completed certain requirements and have the necessary materials.
As well as being able to upgrade your Speeder, Selo Rovak will also provide several other upgrades, such as Smoke Bombs, increased Bacta Vial and Grenade capacity, and even the ability for Nix to sense nearby Containers, so even if you weren’t interested in upgrading your Speeder, she’s still worth paying a visit to.
