The Thunderberry is a legendary artifact that confers a nifty maximum increase to Skif’s endurance, but at the cost of major radiation output. With it equipped, you can sprint across the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone without a worry in the world. Its status as a legendary does make it difficult to get, though, and will require repeat farming of anomalies unless you’re extremely lucky. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to get the Thunderberry artifact in Stalker 2.

Where to find the Thunderberry artifact in Stalker 2

To get the Thunderberry artifact, you’ll need to visit electro anomalies across the Zone. Any electro anomaly will work, though your chances of getting the Thunderberry depend on story progress and how many emissions you’ve lived through. If you’ve tried farming and aren’t having any luck, push forward with the story some more and then try again.

We recommend the Reloading Point electro anomaly in the Cement Factory region as a reliable farming spot. It’s close to the Cement Factory camp and the fast travel guide Jager, so is easy to reach. You’ll want to make a save roughly 200 meters out for the anomaly so that you can reload as needed if it doesn’t spawn the Thunderberry. Pull out your detector and track down the artifact, avoiding the electricity anomalies, then grab it when it appears.

Unless you’ve visited the anomaly since the last emission, the artifact spawn chance is randomised and determined when you reach within 150 meters of the anomaly. By reloading the save and approaching the anomaly, you are effectively resetting the spawn chance. The idea is to keep doing this until it spawns the Thunderberry. If you repeatedly get the same artifact, you’ll need to wait until the next emission for the spawn chance to reset. Alternatively, you can visit a different electro anomaly such as the one next to the Electric Field in Garbage, the tunnel to the west of Depot in Garbage, or the Canning Factory in Zaton.

Thunderberry artifact stats

  • Endurance – Maximum
  • Radiation – Maximum
  • When gradually heated to 78 degrees Celsius, it induces vibrant collective hallucinations portraying a utopian theme.

The Thunderberry offers the best endurance boost of any artifact in Stalker 2, meaning you’ll be chugging energy drinks and pausing to recoup stamina much less often. The trade-off is its extremely high radiation output. But, you can counter the latter by using suits with high radiation protection stats or by installing the lead container suit upgrade.
