Out of all the bonus missions in Splatoon 3, Switching Things Up ranks among the most difficult. Progressing through this maze and finding every hidden switch is no easy task. But that’s what we’re here for.

We’ll help you find your way out of the maze and track down every hidden switch with our Splatoon 3 guide.

To begin, hit the checkpoint and then activate the jump pad. You’ll be sent soaring over to a huge cluster of blocks. Shoot the small splat switch to send the block in front of you flying into the air, revealing an entrance to the maze ahead.

Drop down into the maze and activate the next Splatoon 3 Switching Things Up checkpoint. Quickly splat the Octarian ahead of you and hit the switch it’s guarding. Turn the corner and proceed down the corridor, taking cover and blasting Octarians as you go. Shatter the two orange crates and then hit the switch behind the grey block at the end of the corridor.

Splat the grey wall at the other side of the walkway to climb up, then break the boxes ahead of you to reveal a switch. There’s a second switch embedded in the ceiling just ahead, so be sure not to pass it by during the Splatoon 3 Switching Things Up mission.

Hit both switches on the grey blocks at the end of the corridor, then turn right and splat the Octarian that attempts to catch you unawares. Use cover to hide from the Gatling Octarian until it exhausts itself, then move in quickly to take it out. Shoot the switch behind the Octarian’s perch to proceed onward.

Once all the switches have been hit, a bridge will be raised beyond the Octarian’s perch, allowing you to hit the paint roller and send it careening up the great tower of block you’ve assembled. Turn into squid form and swim up the path left by the roller to reach the goal and complete Splatoon 3 Switching Things Up.Â
