The Sims 4 Seasons – All weather cheats
If you want to change the weather in The Sims 4, you will first want to make sure that you have weather effects enabled. This is done by opening the options menu and going to the environment tab. Once there, make sure the weather effects option is enabled. This will allow weather effects to appear in every neighborhood except for hidden neighborhoods. These include areas such as Deep Woods and Sylvan Glade.
Hidden neighborhood weather
To change the weather in hidden neighborhoods, you will need to travel to the specific neighborhood and type in the cheat codes there. This is the only way to activate a cheat in a hidden neighborhood.
Weather-altering cheats
The following cheat codes will change the weather in every neighborhood except those mentioned above. Keep in mind that some locations also have permanent weather effects that cannot be changed with some cheat codes.

Season-changing cheats
When you want the season to change, you can use a few different cheats to bring in the spring showers or the fall leaves.

Weather reaction cheats
Some cheats change your Sims’ resistance to the weather such as being able to withstand the cold more easily. To use these cheats, you will first need to get the Sim’s ID. To do this, use the following cheat:
- get_Sim_id_by_name [insert full name]
Add this ID to the end of any of these cheats to give this trait to the Sim or hit them with a special seasonal effect.
