So you checked the Pokemon Unite in-game store and found a skin that you really liked. The problem is that the skin can only be purchased by using Holowear tickets, a form of in-game currency, which you don’t have enough of.

Unfortunately, Holowear tickets are one of the more difficult currencies to come by, as there are only three ways to get them. The first requires insane grinding, while the other two require unpredictable luck. As the kids say, choose your poison.

How to Get Holowear Tickets in Pokemon Unite?

From Battle Prize Boxes

The first way of getting Holowear tickets in Pokemon Unite requires intensive grinding. You’ll need to level your Battle Pass up until you complete it entirely. As soon as you max it out, you’ll be given a Battle Pass prize box, which has approximately a 20% chance of containing 10 Holowear tickets.

But since the Battle Pass only arrives once during a season, you can only get 10 tickets each time. This amount would be borderline useless as even the cheapest skins require more than that number.

Fortunately, every time you earn 130 Battle Points after having already completed the Battle Pass, you’ll be rewarded with another prize box. This way, you can get up to 25 Battle Pass prize boxes, or potentially 250 Holowear tickets every season.

From Energy Rewards

The second way of getting Holowear tickets in Pokemon Unite requires insanely high luck. This is because it involves rolling in the game’s gacha reward system. Players of games such as Genshin Impact will be all too knowledgeable about what the gacha system is.

It’s essentially a loot box where you use Aeos energy to get a random reward with every pull. This way, you’ll have a 3% chance of obtaining 10 Holowear tickets every time you roll the energy reward.

Alternatively, if you just want exclusive Holowear skins, then there’s also a minor chance of getting them as energy rewards. How minor? Well, anywhere between a 0.5% to a 1% chance. 

However, if you’re lucky enough to obtain a duplicate Holowear skin, then that skin will be converted into Holowear tickets that you could then spend on whatever other cosmetic you want.

From Daily Events

Finally, the third method that requires even more luck is getting Holowear tickets by completing specific daily quests. However, because of the randomized rotating nature of these quests, you can never say for certain whether you’ll get a quest that rewards you with Holowear tickets for completing it.
