Before you can catch Grookey, you must upgrade the Coastal Biome of the Terarium using 3,000 Blueberry Points (BP). This will unlock multiple starter Pokemon in the area including Bulbasaur and Mudkip. Make sure you complete plenty of Blueberry Quests to earn as much BP as possible tp upgrade each of the biomes.

Grookey likes to call the eastern side of the Coastal Biome home. Unfortunately, this Pokemon isn’t the easiest to find so it may take around 15 to 20 minutes to spot one. Thanks to its coloration, it blends in with the environment. It also appears to have a lower spawn rate than other starters.
