It’s a good idea to stock up on extra ultra-balls and healing items such as Max Potions before you initiate a battle with Wo-Chien. To fight and capture Wo Chien, use a Pokemon type that has a clear advantage over it and has a similar level so that you can chip away at its health without knocking it out. Some recommended Pokemon include Azumarill, Persian, Quaqaval, and Koraidon.

Keep an eye out for the Wo-Chiens Giga Drain attack, which will allow the Pokemon to heal itself, so using a Pokemon which has less effective moves once the health bar has dropped into the red might be a good idea.
