To catch Pecharunt, you must first defeat it in battle as part of the Scarlet and Violet Epilogue. This battle is treated like a raid battle with Pecharunt having a large health bar at the top of the screen. As part of the story of the epilogue, you will go to Loyalty Plaza where Nemona has been possessed. Once there, she will challenge you to a battle. After this battle, you will get the chance to fight Pecharunt. When the battle is over, you will get a guaranteed catch.

How to defeat Pecharunt in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC Epilogue
Pecharunt is a poison and ghost-type Pokemon. This means that it is weak to ground, psychic, and dark-type moves. Because of this, we used Chandelure and Delphox to defeat this Pokemon.
Pecharunt will start the battle off with poison abilities, poisoning your Pokemon and confusing it at the same time. This is a common occurrence in the fight. You can get around this by having a poison-type Pokemon that knows psychic or dark-type moves.
We dealt with the confusion and used moves like Night Shade, Dark Pulse, and Psychic to defeat Pecharunt. Since the health bar is rather large, it will take quite a few turns to defeat this Pokemon. Its only moves that cause damage are Malignant Chain and Shadow Ball.
Pecharunt has the Poison Puppeteer ability. This makes it so any Pokemon that gets poisoned by Pecharunt also gets confused. This can lead to your Pokemon hurting themselves a lot during the fight. You can counteract this by having a Pokemon that is immune to poisoning.

When you catch Pecharunt, it will be level 88 – the highest level Pokemon you can catch in the DLCs. This Pokemon has the following abilities:
