If you’re looking to catch ’em all with your squad, then here’s how to host in Pokemon Go Party Play. Niantic’s newly introduced group play feature lets you enjoy the mobile-based Pocket Monster adventure in an all-new way, as you can finally take on challenges, earn rewards, and, most importantly, capture Pokemon with your friends!

Of course, you will need to reach a certain level to use Party Play, so we recommend looking at how to get Zorua in Pokemon Go and how to get Gimmighoul in Pokemon Go to earn that rank beforehand. However, if you’ve already attained the required level, here’s what you need to do to host your group with Pokemon Go Party Play.

How do you host a party in Pokemon Go?

  1. Start up Pokemon Go.
  2. Head to your Trainer Profile by tapping on your avatar’s icon.
  3. Press the Party tab found beside the Friends category.
  4. Hit Create.
  5. You will then be given a QR code you can share with the friends you want to party up with.
  6. Once everyone’s scanned it, press Start and get to catching!

As mentioned above, this feature will only be available once you’ve reached level 15 and above. This means that if you’re only starting out, you won’t immediately be able to create or join a party with your friends. However, leveling is relatively easy in Pokemon Go, as doing most activities, like catching Pokemon, raiding, etc., all give you XP, so you should be able to reach the required rank in no time.

That covers all you need to know about how to host in Pokemon Go Party Play. For more, check out our guides on how to evolve Cosmog in Pokemon Go, how to get Crabrawler in Pokemon Go, and how to evolve Inkay into Malamar in Pokemon Go.
