Those stepping back into Night City might be wondering how do I get Twitch drops for Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty? Let’s get you sorted.

With the launch of the new expansion (check out our Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty review here if you haven’t yet) CD Projekt Red are offering a bunch of free content for those who want to watch their favourite streamers broadcast the game on Twitch. These items are sure to make you look extra stylish come the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty start time.

It’s a little more complicated than your usual Twitch drop, as some freebies are only available via specific methods – but there’s also a cool feature where you can support your favourite streamer and get additional freebies by dropping a couple of subs, so everybody wins. Let’s take you through what’s on offer, and how you can claim the sweet loot for yourself.

What are the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Twitch Drops?

There’s four items available via Twitch Drops – each making up part of the NUS Infiltrator Outfit. You’ll get each piece as long as you watch an hour of content broadcast by the streamers – although one of these items is being referred to as a ‘custom drop’ and will only be available via specific streamers.

  • NUS Infiltrator Pants
  • NUS Infiltrator Boots
  • NUS Infiltrator Jacket
  • NUS Infiltrator Headgear

How to get the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Twitch Drops?

To get each drop, first off you’ll have to link your GOG.COM and Twitch accounts. If you’ve not got a GOG.COM account yet, you’ll have to create it by heading to GOG.com and clicking ‘Sign In’ at the top of the screen, then ‘Create Account’ and follow the instructions.

Once that’s done, then you’ll need to link your Twitch and GOG.COM accounts. You can do that at the following link here.

If you’ve done all that, then – for the first three items – it’s just a case of watching any Twitch streamer with Drops Enabled playing ‘eligible Cyberpunk 2077 content’ for one hour between the following dates for each piece.

NUS Infiltrator Pants

  • Start Time: September 25 at 1pm CEST/12pm BST/7am ET/4am PT
  • End Time: October 02 at 11:59pm CEST/10:59pm BST/17:59 ET/14:59 PT

NUS Infiltrator Boots

  • Start Time: October 03 at 12am CEST/October 2 at 11pm BST/6pm ET/3pm PT
  • End Time: October 12 at 11:59pm CEST/10:59pm BST/17:59 ET/14:59 PT

NUS Infiltrator Jacket

  • Start Time: October 13 at 12am CEST/October 12 at 11pm BST/6pm ET/3pm PT
  • End Time: October 21 at 11:59pm CEST/10:59pm BST/17:59 ET/14:59 PT

NUS Infiltrator Headgear

This one is a little more complicated. It’s being called a Custom Drop, as it’s only available on specific Twitch channels, rather than any channel playing Cyberpunk 2077. You’ll still need to watch one hour of content on these specific channels between the following dates:

  • Start Time: September 25 at 1pm CEST/12pm BST/7am ET/4am PT
  • End Time: October 21 at 11:59pm CEST/10:59pm BST/17:59 ET/14:59 PT

And these are the specific channels who are eligible for this drop:

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Support a Streamer – how to get the Yasha Sniper Rifle

The other freebie CD Projekt are offering Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty fans is the Yasha Sniper Rifle. To get this, all you have to do is gift two subscriptions to the channel of any streamer participating in the Support A Streamer program. There’s a huge number of participating creators in this one, too many for us to list here, so check out the Cyberpunk website for a handy spreadsheet naming them all.

The subscriptions will only count, however, if they’re gifted between the following dates:

  • Start Time: September 25 at 1pm CEST/12pm BST/7am ET/4am PT
  • End Time: October 21 at 11:59pm CEST/10:59pm BST/17:59 ET/14:59 PT

How to claim Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Twitch Drops

Once you’ve watched enough to unlock the drops, head to your Inventory on Twitch by clicking on your profile picture and then clicking “Drops and Rewards” – there you should see your items with a button reading ‘Claim’ underneath. Simple hit this button, and it’ll transfer the stuff into your game, where you should find it in V’s in-game stash.

Hopefully, that’s all you should need to know to get your Twitch Drop freebies with Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. For more on the game, check out our guides on Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty – will mods work? and the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty system requirements.
