Big gaming releases are often accompanied by promotions and the popular Twitch Drops are often among them. Path of Exile 2 is coming to Early Access with aRPG fans everywhere waiting with bated breath. To reward the community, GGG has set up a campaign that rewards fans who watch Twitch streams. So, if you catch any streamers with drops enabled, you can get some nice MTX loot. We’ll explain how to get them and what rewards you can expect to see.
How to get Path of Exile 2 Twitch Drops
To get Twitch Drops, you’ll need to watch eligible Twitch Community Streamers playing PoE2 Early Access. The streamers who are participating in the campaign will have Twitch Drops Enabled in their title, indicating that viewing their channel will count toward the Drops’ progress.
To earn Twitch Drops progress, you’ll need to have a Twitch account and a GGG account then link the two together. Start watching and any earned rewards will show up in your Drops and Rewards Inventory on Twitch. You can see them by clicking on your avatar icon in the top right corner and selecting Drops and Rewards from the drop-down menu. Just remember to claim any rewards you got from the Inventory before they expire.
All PoE2 Twitch Drops rewards
The Early Access Twitch campaign starts with the game’s EA release on December 6. There are two weeks planned for the campaign. You have to watch accumulated 3 hours of eligible streams to get the reward for each week. Here’s what you can get and when:
- If you watch from December 6 at 7 pm BST until December 14 at 8 am BST, you’ll get the Energising Bolt Flask Effect and Halo of the Righteous Helmet Attachment.
- If you watch from December 14 at 8 am BST until December 22 at 8 am BST, you’ll get the Temporal Lord’s Portal Effect.
In addition, there’s a “Support a Streamer” campaign going on parallel to the Twitch Drops rewards. If you purchase or gift two Twitch subscriptions of any tier, you will get the Chimera Pet MTX. This campaign lasts between December 6 and December 22.
