- Build a Furnace
- Unlock the Smelting Essentials, Copper Pickaxes, and Bronze Crafting Memetics skills
- Bronze Ingot is crafted in the Furnace using x5 Tin Ore, x3 Copper Ore, and x1 Charcoal
The majority of Tier II weapons and armour crafted using the Gear Workbench require Bronze Ingot. In other words, you’re going to need a mountain of the stuff to keep upgrading your meta-human’s gear. Fortunately, it’s a relatively early-game resource that doesn’t take all that much effort to get.
Unlike natural resources like Copper, Logs, or Tin, Bronze Ingots are crafted. There are several steps involved in the manufacturing process so we’ll walk you through how to get Bronze Ingot. We also have a ton of useful tips and tricks to guide you in the early game.
How to craft Bronze Ingots
To kick things off, you’ll want to progress far enough with the Eve of Evolution story quest until you’ve set up a Territory base and built a Furnace (x20 Copper Ore and x30 Gravel). You’ll need to unlock the Smelting Essentials Memetic skill but the tutorial will walk you through all that. You’re looking at roughly 30 minutes to an hour of play before you reach that point so you’ll get there quickly.
Next, head into the Memetics Cradle by tapping O, then into Memetics on the left and tap the Infrastructure tab. Unlock the Copper Pickaxes (in the Awakening Tier) and Bronze Crafting (in the Empowerment tier) skills, the latter giving you access to the Bronze Ingot recipe.
Interact with the Furnace and select Bronze Ingot from the crafting options on the left of the screen. Set the slider according to how many you want to craft, then tap F to start the process. Each Bronze Ingot takes 5 seconds to make and requires x5 Tin Ore, x 3 Copper Ore, and x1 Charcoal. If you need a hand, check out our dedicated guides to getting Tin and Copper. As for Charcoal, it’s made using x5 Log in the Furnace.
It’s worth gathering up plenty of Tin, Copper, and Charcoal then setting the Furnace to craft a huge batch before going off questing or exploring. When you get back, you’ll have a hefty stock of Bronze Ingots for any fresh gear you might need.
