No Rest for the Wicked’s cross platform play is something that you will need to know about the incoming title. Whether or not a game can be played on multiple platforms and consoles is important, especially for any game that has multiplayer capabilities. If you can’t play with your friend on Xbox because you have a PlayStation, that’s vital to know. So is No Rest for the Wicked cross play?
Does No Rest for the Wicked support cross platform play?
Currently, there is no indication of whether or not No Rest for the Wicked supports cross platform play. This is presumably because the early access release date is only for one single console/platform: Windows. When the game comes out, it doesn’t matter if it’s cross platform since there’s only one platform! You can play any and all multiplayer action with every single player the early access launch has.
However, it will be important to know when the game’s full release comes out. Moon Studios, the award-winning development team behind Ori and the Will of the Wisps/Blind Forest, is going to fully release the game for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 at some point. Rumors suggest a mid-2025 date for that, and by then, we will know certainly whether or not this game has cross play or not. When we do, we will update this article.

We can only speculate right now, but it is reasonable to assume that No Rest for the Wicked will have cross play. The game is being made for next-gen consoles and most modern games have cross platform play. The only time they may not is when some versions of the game are on last-gen consoles, and that’s not the case here.
Moon Studios and Private Division, the publishers, have not even confirmed when the full game will be out for wide release. The initial launch is limited in scope. We will hopefully know more soon about whether or not you and your friends on different platforms can both link up and visit Isola Sacra.
