How to pick and roll in NBA 2K24

A pick and roll is a play used on offence, in which a member of the offensive team sets a screen – also known as a pick – for their ball carrying teammate. The player who sets the screen will then move towards the basket – also known as a roll – to receive the ball, usually resulting in a shot inside the paint.

Deploying a standard pick and roll in NBA 2K24 is simple. Here is how:

• Whilst handling the ball, press and hold L1 (PlayStation) or LB (Xbox) to autoselect a pick and roll player.
• Whilst handling the ball, tap L1 (PlayStation) or LB (Xbox) to manually select a pick and roll player.

If you wish to have your screening player switch sides in order to attack from a different angle, then you simply have to click your left analogue stick (L3 on PlayStation/LS on Xbox).

If you’re deploying a pick and roll with a player who is better suited to nailing a three from the wing rather than crashing the boards, then you may wish to deploy a pick and roll fade.
