What rewards will arrive with NBA 2K23 Season 8? The 2023 NBA offseason is officially underway, kicking off with an exciting NBA Draft on June 22 soon to be followed by the 2023 Summer League Tournament, which commences on July 3. Similarly to the league itself, NBA 2K23 has remained quite busy with all sorts of new content and surprises up its sleeve over the course of Season 7. And from the looks of it, NBA 2K23 intends to not only match that output, but also surpass it in Season 8.

However, as the saying goes, “the proof is in the pudding”, meaning fans know very well that what will make or break this new season comes down to the rewards it provides for the top three modes available in NBA 2K23 – MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W Online. With the Season 8 release date taking place in a matter of days, fans are eager to see what prizes await them this time around as they prepare to embark on a new six-week adventure. But while we wait for Season 8 to launch, here’s a look at all the crucial details you need to know about its rewards set to arrive in NBA 2K23.

NBA 2K23 Season 8

NBA 2K23 Season 8 Rewards

What makes NBA 2K23 Season 8 so exciting comes down to the rewards and how easy it will be to acquire a whole bunch of them. With each new season, NBA 2K23 continues to increase its generosity level for the community, and this is certainly evident in Season 8 where they’ve added some elite rewards fans will want to have in MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W Online.

So without further ado, here’s the all the rewards fans can expect to find come the arrival of NBA 2K23 Season 8 later this week.

MyCAREER Rewards

As you can imagine, there’s a lot to be had from the Season 8 reward path in MyCAREER. Along with a variety of new animations, outfits, and player banners, Season 8 will also be home to new apparel items fans will be able to find at Swag’s, including brands such as OVO, Crocs, Marathon, Eastside Golf, and Daily Paper x Dreamville to name a few.

As fans progress their way through the new rewards ladder by accumulating XP, they will be able to get their hands on better and better prizes. Down below we list some of the best rewards NBA 2K23 revealed so far:

  1. New Era Hat (Level 25)
  2. NBA Mascot Outfits (Level 30)
  3. Badge Point (Level 39)
  4. Final Core Badge Pattern (Level 40)
    • Next-Generation consoles only.
  5. Tiger Companion (Level 40)
    • Current-Generation consoles only.

Seeing how popular of a hit the NBA Mascots outfits have been in the community, it’s certainly a win to be able to pursue more of them upon reaching Level 30 of the reward path. Although the badge point comes to no surprise for the Level 39 reward (was the same in Season 7), the Final Core Badge Pattern is huge, allowing players to tap into even more customisation and playstyle specifications.

Lastly, having a Tiger companion for current-gen players is an awesome new prize to work towards. With fast travel and apparel typically receiving the brunt of the attention in previous seasons, it will be great to unlock something unique that can accompany you on your travels around the G.O.A.T. Boat, and a Tiger is an excellent choice.

MyTEAM Rewards

If you thought Season 7 was special in MyTEAM, you very well might be blown away by the rewards available in the Season 8 reward path. If you happen to be after 99 overall Dark Matter items, or have yet to unlock or purchase any, you will be able to get your hands on a handful of them over Season 8.

With Season 7 introducing the Invincible and End Game Dark Matter items, which consist of some of the best 99 overall items in MyTEAM, NBA 2K23 is continuing with both themes in Season 8, and will have two End Game players fans will be able to unlock as they progress their way through the reward path. Here’s a look at all the new Season 8 player items that were revealed so far:

  1. End Game Dark Matter Stephen Curry (Level 1)
  2. End Game Dark Matter Joel Embiid (Level 40)
  3. End Game Dark Matter Bill Russell (All-Time Spotlight Challenge)

An End Game Dark Matter Stephen Curry at Level 1? That’s right! Fans will be able to dominate the MyTEAM courts with a free End Game Stephen Curry item they will be able to unlock just by entering the Season 8 reward path menu.

Though the Embiid item is one that fans will have to grind for, there will be an All-Time Spotlight Challenge available in Season 8 right away for fans to pursue a free End Game Bill Russell player item. And should fans not want End Game Russell, they can select the Season 7 End Game Kevin Durant or Paolo Banchero items that will also be within the End Game Option Pack.

Keep in mind though that fans will only be able to select one of those three End Game players upon completing the All-Time Spotlight Challenge.

At the moment, the Las Vegas Aces look as dominant as ever, boasting a WNBA best 13-1 record atop of the standings. But close behind are both the Connecticut Sun and the New York Liberty, who are led by MVP candidate Breanna Stewart.

To keep up with the fun, action-packed WNBA season, The W Online will be home to a variety of new rewards in NBA 2K23 Season 8, including a Stewie 1 Shoe Card and much more.
