MW2 and Warzone Season 5 maps list

Searching for early glimpses of MW2 and Warzone Season 5 maps list? We have all five of them right there. We already know that Season 5 will commence on August 5th with lots of new features for players to use throughout the new season. 

Activision has promised that Season 5 will deliver some new Operators such as Snoop Dogg, as well as new weapons you can read about in our MW2 and Warzone Season 5 Weapon List and many other items. For now, let’s take you through all the new maps in MW2 and Warzone Season 5.

• Punta Mar
• Strike
• Lounge
• Canal
• DRC – Zone 1 (Mid-Season)

Puntar Mar

This new map is a recently abandoned tourist attraction in Las Almas, which was at one time a bustling town. You’ll have to fight your way up and down a hill, manoeuvre through shops, and follow rooftops and abandoned homes to survive. 

Engagements will happen quickly in Puntar Mar, giving you little time to rest. Be sure to stay vigilant and keep an eye on the shop windows for enemy Operators. You can make good use of the side streets and alleys to gain an advantage as well. 

Strike

Remember this one from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare? Strike is back in “full glory” in the August 2nd update, and this new version is almost exactly how it was 15 years ago – albeit with some slight adjustments. 

Lounge

If you’re down for some Gunfight and other small-squad modes, then you’ll love the Lounge as it’s a compact map that’s set within a high-scale, high-octane club. You can navigate through the map and use stairs or even climb to a balcony to gain a strategic view across the main chamber.

And when the central area becomes too intense (because it will), consider trying your luck in the game room or seeking refuge under the spotlights of the stage behind the grand piano. The Lounge might be a tiny map but there’s danger at every turn, so stay sharp. 

Canal

Set in the vicinity of Vondel, this Gunfight map offers lots of verticality. You can use cellars below the cobblestone streets above while evading the ongoing action between the canal bridges. The water and moored boats will be of tactical use to you as well. 

So get ready for some close quarters combat as you navigate through the brewery and restaurant in Canal. This map also offers a frenetic experience with slightly more room to maneuver compared to other Gunfight maps. You’re going to have to be tactical and maintain the pressure on your opponents to make it out alive.

DRC – Zone 1 (Mid-Season)

Located around the Visitor Center in the shadow of Building 21, this small-sized map is designed for fast-paced combat where every shortcut matters. You can outflank opponents in a consistent action once this map becomes available in mid-season. 

MW2 and Warzone Season 5 comes with a whole set of new features as well and plenty more when the Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 5 release date drops on August 2nd.
